zappi is the charger that made solar-aware EV charging normal, and it is still the one we are asked for by name. It has three modes: FAST charges at full rate, while ECO and ECO+ continually adjust the charging current in response to what your panels are generating and what the rest of the house is using.

In ECO+ the car charges only from genuine surplus, pausing when a kettle or oven comes on and resuming when it goes off — so the car is filled with electricity you would otherwise have exported at a fraction of its value.
