6.9 kWp PV system + 20 kWh battery storage Staffordshire
There is no better compliment than repeat business. Having installed a system for a customer previously, we were brought back to fit a brand-new solar and battery setup for a member of their family in Brown Edge, Stoke-on-Trent.
The roof is split across two arrays, so the system captures daylight from both aspects and feeds a 20 kWh battery — enough to store a full day of generation and top up on a cheap off-peak rate overnight.
Installation includes:
- 14 x Aiko all-black panels, 6.9 kWp total generation capacity
- 6 x 465W Aiko on the flat roof, mounted in Renusol Console tubs
- 8 x 510W Aiko on the main house roof
- Growatt MIN 6000TL-XH2 6 kW hybrid inverter
- 20 kWh Growatt APX battery storage (4 x 5 kWh modules + BMU controller)
How Solar PV/storage Works:
- Solar Panels – Capture Sunlight and Convert It into Electricity.
- DC electricity is then converted to AC to power your home with Clean, Renewable Energy.
- Excess solar energy is then stored in solar storage batteries to assist usage at a later point.
